Job Description: Sales Manager – Cab Supply Demand (GOAMILES)

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities (KRA):

  • Cab Supply Demand Management: Develop, formulate & execute strategies to manage the supply & demand of cabs within the GOAMILES network. Analyze market dynamics, consumer trends & competitor activities to optimize cab availability & utilization
  • Market Penetration: Drive the expansion of GOAMILES’ cab supply network by identifying & onboarding new cab operators, drivers, fleet owners. Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in the transportation industry (Unions, Transport Vendors, transport Partners, etc.)to ensure a steady and reliable cab supply
  • Sales Target Achievement: Set & achieve ambitious sales targets specifically focused on cab supply – demand management. Develop and implement sales plans and initiatives to attract and retain cab operators within the GOAMILES network. Monitor performance against targets and take corrective actions as necessary
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate strong mutually beneficial relationships with cab operators, fleet owners & other supply partners. Serve as the primary point of contact for all sales-related matters, addressing their needs & concerns promptly & effectively
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including operations, technology, customer service, to ensure alignment of cab supply efforts with overall business objectives. Provide input and insights to inform product enhancements & service improvements
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead &motivate a sales team focused on cab supply – demand management, providing guidance, coaching, support to achieve individual & team goals. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, continuous learning within the team
  • Financial Acumen: Utilize strong number-crunching abilities to analyze supply and demand data, forecast cab utilization, and optimize pricing strategies for cab operators. Ensure cost-effective sales initiatives & resource allocation to maximize profitability
  • Content Creation: Develop compelling sales materials with presentations tailored to cab operators – fleet owners, highlighting the benefits of joining the GOAMILES network. Ensure consistency & quality in all written communication and collateral

Qualifications and Experience:

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree/Post Graduation in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or a sales related field in tourism preferred
  • 4-8 years of experience in sales, with a strong track record of success in the transportation or logistics industry. Prior experience in cab supply – demand management is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of the local transportation market & existing relationships with cab operators and fleet owners would be advantageous
  • Excellent sales with negotiation skills, with a proven ability to attract, retain supply partners within a competitive market
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a passion for developing & mentoring team members
  • Exceptional communication – interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with supply partners at all levels
  • Must be willing to work 6 days a week in Goa, with occasional travel as required
  • Go getter, pleasant personality & a good Samaritan, Team management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal & presentation skills with strong grasping & convincing abilities & presentability
  • Knowledge of MS Office & other basic computer applications
