Sales Agent

Sales Agent Responsibilities:

• Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
• Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
• Verifies invoices and purchase requests to ensure accuracy.
• Loading and unloading items from vehicles.
• Accepting payments for delivered items. And submitting cash/cheques to the accounts department.
• Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
• Inform customers about new products.
• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
• Refuels vehicles, performs periodic check-ups, and diagnoses potential vehicle problems.
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
• Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
• Observes company dress code and maintains a neat appearance.

Sales Agent Requirements:

• High school or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license (LMV) issued by the state.
• Clean driving record.
• Experience in similar field.
• Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Ability to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items for extended periods.
• Experience in handling cash and giving change.
• Familiarity with the local area, including streets, highways, and buildings.
