Overview :
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Executive for a company who are a leading provider of innovative fire safety products and solutions, catering to the needs of diverse industries including corporate, government, defense, power, and transport sectors to join their team in Goa.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, with specific experience in institutional and government sales. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with key stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on institutional and government contracts within Goa and surrounding regions.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including government departments, defense organizations, power sector companies, transport authorities, and corporate clients.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets. Create tailored presentations and proposals to align with the specific needs of prospective clients.
- Tender & Proposal Management: Lead the preparation and submission of tenders and bids for government and institutional projects, ensuring all requirements are met for successful outcomes.
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitive positioning, and opportunities for growth in the fire safety sector.
- Reporting: Regularly report on sales activities, pipeline status, forecasts, and achieved results. Maintain up-to-date records in CRM systems.
Job Requirement:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in B2B institutional and government sales, preferably in the fire safety or related industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with fire safety standards, compliance regulations, and industry best practices in both the private and public sectors.
- Technical Understanding: Basic understanding of fire safety systems such as fire extinguishers, fire alarms, sprinkler systems, and emergency lighting.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
