Housekeeping – Hospitality

Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Attendant who will be  responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests at the hostel. This role involves cleaning rooms, public areas, and facilities, restocking supplies, and ensuring high standards of hygiene throughout the property.

Job  Responsibilities:

1. Guest Rooms and Dormitories: Clean and sanitize rooms, dormitories, and common areas according to hostel standards. Make beds, change linens, and arrange items to create a welcoming environment. Report any maintenance issues or damages to the manager.
2.  Public Areas and Facilities: Clean and maintain public areas, including lounges, kitchen, and bathrooms. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect floors and surfaces. Ensure that garbage and waste are regularly collected and disposed properly.
3. Laundry and Linen Management: Wash, dry, and fold bed linens, towels, and other items. Maintain an organized linen storage area. Monitor and report inventory levels for cleaning supplies and linen.
4.  Guest Interaction: Provide friendly and respectful interactions with guests, addressing any questions or requests professionally. Assist in responding to guest inquiries about hostel services when required.
5.  Safety and Hygiene Standards: Follow health and safety protocols to maintain a hygienic environment. Use appropriate cleaning products and ensure proper storage. Report any potential hazards to the manager promptly.

Job Requirements: 

1. Prior housekeeping experience in a hostel, hotel, or similar environment is preferred.
2. Knowledge of cleaning supplies, tools, and best practices for sanitation.
3. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
5.  Friendly and approachable personality with good communication skills

Location : Vagator, North Goa

Timings : 8am-2pm, 5pm-11pm
